Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GetSuppy, including the website at getsuppy.com, the GetSuppy mobile application, and related services (together, the “Services”).

By accessing, using, or creating an account for the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services are provided by GetSuppy Ltd (“GetSuppy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company operating under the laws of England and Wales.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Services. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the Services. If you are under the age of legal capacity in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Services with a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to be responsible for your use.

To use most features you must create an account and provide:

• accurate and current registration information;
• a unique username and a secure password; and
• only one account for your personal use.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at admin@getsuppy.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Services or other users.

GetSuppy is a stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) adventure journal and community product. Depending on the features available to you, the Services may allow you to:

• create and edit paddle adventures (including private adventures);
• record or upload routes (including live GPS on mobile and GPX on web);
• add photos and notes;
• browse Discover and other paddlers’ public content;
• follow paddlers, like and comment on adventures; and
• tag participants on group paddles.

Features may change, be limited during testing, or differ between web and mobile. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Some features require access to your device location (for example live route recording). You can refuse or revoke location permission in your device settings, but those features may not work.

GetSuppy is not a navigation, rescue, weather, or emergency service. You remain solely responsible for your safety on the water, including conditions, equipment, skill level, and local rules. Do not rely on the Services as your only means of orientation or communication.

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as adventure details, routes, photos, comments, and profile information) (“User Content”).

You grant GetSuppy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for technical display), and display your User Content as needed to operate and improve the Services, including showing public content to other users according to your privacy settings (for example public vs private adventures).

You represent that you have the rights to submit User Content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or break the law.

You agree not to:

• harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate others;
• post illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative content;
• upload malware or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Services;
• scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data except as we expressly allow;
• misrepresent GPS or adventure data in a way intended to deceive; or
• use the Services in a way that endangers yourself or others.

Adventures you mark as public may be visible to other users and to visitors of public pages. Private adventures are limited to you and, where applicable, paddlers you tag who can view them under our access rules.

Likes, comments, follows, and similar social actions may be visible to others as described in the product. Do not post personal information you are not comfortable sharing.

The Services rely on third parties such as hosting, database, and map providers (for example Supabase, Vercel, Expo, and map tile or device map providers). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from GetSuppy.

The Services are currently offered without charge. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions later. If we do, we will provide clear notice and any additional payment terms before you are charged.

You may stop using the Services at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email admin@getsuppy.com from the email address on your account. We will verify the request and delete data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we need to protect the Services, other users, or comply with law.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly set out in these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability arising out of these Terms or the Services is limited to £100 (or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if higher).

If you are a consumer in the UK, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other mandatory consumer laws that these Terms do not affect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their local courts where mandatory law allows.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
